Hi everyone,
As you might know, Popomungo is also available for download at addons.mozilla.org (AMO). The site is quite nice source of extensions and it is natively supported by Firefox, but from a developer point of view it sucks. The problem is that each version of an extension must pass a review process before it is published by an AMO editor. For example, the latest Popomungo updates (2.5.1 and 2.5.2) have been waiting for a review for approx. 6 weeks now.
I have been quite frustrated due to these delays as AMO will be the main source of extensions and updates for Firefox 3. I have tried to find out how to speed up the process and I have come to a conclusion that the optimal solution would be that one (or more) of the Popomungo users would become an AMO editor (Editors; How to become an editor). The rest of the users could help by logging into AMO and rate & comment the extension.
So, this post is kind of a request for help. It is up to you, if you can and will help the community.
Kind regards,
Tom
